Welcome to Wellington International School

We aim to stimulate a caring and creative environment; and highlight the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of each child.
ART
The students at WIS have the opportunity to encounter a variety of media and techniques including drawing, painting and 3D work. They are taught to view, express and appreciate paintings and artefacts of artists including their own work and others.
SCIENCE
Our approach to science is also important to us and our core values. All of our students have access to a variety of science laboratories, which have been designed and equipped to evolve and enhance the natural curiosity of a child’s mind.
Music & Drama
At WIS we do not just devote our time to educating our students about English and Math’s, we strongly believe it is also crucial to educate and teach the children about music and drama as this assemble on their creativity and confidence and allows them the opportunity to carry out and express their talents.
Transportation Facilities & Bus Schedule
WIS cares passionately about child security and comfort, as much we offer all parents the opportunity to have access to our school transportation. What is important to you is also important to us and we provide all of our children with air-conditioned buses with appropriate seating and seatbelts for each child. All of our buses have a bus-monitor present and we do our maximum to ensure each student’s safety is paramount during transportation time.
Food Hall
Healthy eating is important to a child’s physical and academic maturing and everyday learning. Our on-site canteen provides food for children, which is both attractive and healthy. We encourage all of our children to learn healthy eating habits and manners. We also believe that children must develop a family’s core traditions and ethics..
Physical Education
WIS provides an inclusive Physical education development program as well as a scope of extra-curricular activities. We offer a wide range of sports for the children to participate in, which helps the children to comprehend the importance of an active lifestyle and incorporated with advantages.
At WIS we provide our students with huge space and a variety of sporting activities to interest all. The amenities our children have access to include gymnasiums, several courts and sporting areas for football, basketball and volleyball as well as an outdoor pool with a qualified lifeguard. Our students are also actively motivated to join in with extra-curricular sporting activities as well as allowing them to compete locally with other school.
Safety & Security
At WIS we are also very aware that child safety and protection is an important component for parents when selecting a school for their child. We do not just offer a cozy and bright environment for the children; we also offer parents security knowing that their children are safe and secure. Throughout our school buildings we have continual camera surveillance in and outside of the classrooms and in the garden areas. We honour ourselves on our approach to child protection, safety and security.
